Quality of cards: please read below.
This is the Gol Gool! 89-collection issued by Sahin Ticaret in Turkey. It’s all about a few teams of the Turkish competion mixed up with international stars like Maradona (4 different ones), Gullit and Rijkaard.
These cards came up in a strip of 6 numbered cards and one small unnumbered paper card within.
There are 98 numbers but I don’t know if every number was published. The teams involved are: Besiktas, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce, Trabzonspor, Bursaspor, Malatyaspor and Zeytinburnu mixed up with the 3 international stars. Funny thing is: number 1 is a pic of a Turkish weightlifter?????
The cutting of the small unnumbered paper cards is terrible and every card has at least one fold because they were wrapped inside. I don’t know how many of these cards were published but there are 46 for sure. The teams involved of this set are: Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Bursaspor, Galatasaray, Malatyaspor and Sariyer.
Don’t expect “Panini”-quality. The colours on the cards are of bad quality but they’re great if you collect them or are looking for rare Maradona cards for example. I haven’t seen these before.
Big names in this collection are: Maradona, Gullit, Rijkaard, Schumacher, Ridvan, Tanju, Carlos, Hakan, Ferdinand and many others.
